Acton Post Office london

Word is it's closing down and you 1starers will really have something to moan about when it's gone! The staff do the best that they can. Just like all establishments there are peak and off peak times - furthermore there are even worse post offices in the vicinity... don't let so called prestige postcodes fool you... I've found them to be helpful and efficient. It will be a great loss to the community if it is true that it's closing down.

Terrible service! My story started a bit earlier, when my 2 items "attempted" to delivered on Wednesday. I was at home that time, but no gate bell, door bell, nothing. So definitely they didn't try to deliver my items. I visited the website and deciced to ask to deliver my stuff to my local post office as it's easier to pick it up from there. I shouldn't... In the email they said I can collect my delivery on Friday. No time specified. I went around 10:30 as I'm working on the afternoon/evening and they said my stuff is not there yet, come back in couple of hours or tomorrow. I came home quite disappointed. After I thought to check on the website where my items are and saw they delivered them 10:56 to the post office. So I went back. The man at the counter was very bored and careless. He started to pick on my ID (as my name is in different order as we use it in my country). He gave me 1 box. I said as he can see on the paper I have 2 items to collect. He found the other one. I wanted to pay by cash (because if you want to collect your items from post office you have to pay), so he took me to the counter (the woman behind the glass seemed very bored too). While they check the barcodes the guy droped one of my box to the floor. At home I saw that it is demaged because of that. Very nice... So overall it is not enough they didn't attempt to deliver my package (while I was at home) I had to go back twice (as they didn't specify after what time I can go, just the day).

Large pst office where you can have your post or questions answered quickly most of the time. Can be incredibly busy sometimes too though. But they do now have self check out machines with someone to help which I found unusual. Easy to get too and freindly staff.

Changing my review. 12 customers only one cashier. I hope I would never want to use this office for my posting needs.

Absolutely appealing customer service! I visited this post office today and was reprimanded by one of the employees (middle aged Asian lady), when I asked her for help. And I wasn't the only one being told off for requesting assistance - she generally seemed to treat customers like a nuisance.
