A strange company. Friendly enough when I was in for an interview, with the exception of the promised parking place being cancelled 'because a director needed it'. Anyway Bourne Leisure completely failed to get back to me. Nothing. I spent some hours studying the job description and doing some further research, had a day off work to get there mid-morning, was as focused as I could be in the interview. None of this warrants a response though. Charming. Then 6 months later I was up for some contract work there on a different team. You guessed it, no one got back to me. The second time it was via a recruitment company to be fare. Direct the first time and not a peep out of Bourne Leisure HR since I spent that hour sat talking to them. So rude. It looks like Bourne Leisure will have to continue to buy up lovely old and often listed buildings (Haven Holidays) and completely desecrate them, turning them into boilerplate, tasteless lowest common denominator, shamefully unimaginative hotels, marketed only at the most guillible of the older people in society, without my help then. Downgraded to one star.
