We attended here for the works Christmas party, and we now sincerely wish we didn't. We arrived when instructed and were promptly told the food had been delayed by an hour, but credit to them they tried to make up for this with giving us some of Sarsons finest 'wine'. 1 hour and 45 minutes later they served the starters, and even though most people were ravenous by this point nearly all starters went untouched as they were almost inedible. Warm alcohol was on offer to quench our thirst between meals and by the time the main came out mine didn't touch the sides, not because it was good but because at nearly 10pm (we were told to arrive at 7pm) I had no other choice. The only thing I can compare the main to is a microwave roast dinner...we didn't even stay for the pudding. Woeful.
