The nurse and the reception staff were very nice. I have never experienced such hospitality before. They are very nice person.
However, the doctor was awful Dr. Napolean Chu. He did not listen to my history and what symptoms I am having for even 2 minutes. He was very much impatient in drawing conclusion. He was annoyed and told me I cant say all the symptoms in one visit. What kind of doctor says that, he directed me to say 2-3 symptoms for now and the rest symptoms in next visit. Seriously ??
He was laughing and commented me that I am having so many thing together.
I want to give you an example Doctor, if a person develops anemia, he/she can have fatigue, nausea, dizziness, headache, hair loss, brittle nails and so on. This does not mean that the person is having all the disease. These all symptom can be related to one particular illness, in this case anemia. I am not having all the things together, I am having one disease that's bringing me all the symptoms and I came to you to diagnose that illness.
He said breast pain tenderness is never the sign of thyroid. He treated me like a very uneducated person. He asked me what kind of job I do, when I said nursing he said "oh you are ain." I am a masters nurse and have been a nurse for 6 years. I know that breast tenderness is a very positive sign of thyroid, especially if it's hypothyroidism.
The doctor certainly needs more learning both academically and professionally.
Very much arrogant person can never be a good doctor . I would never like to visit the same doctor for second time.
I said him my last LMP was on 10 April and the period lasted for 3 weeks. In between conversations somewhere he asked me if I have checked pregnancy, he said breast tenderness is related to pregnancy. I said I have not checked but I am sure I am not pregnant, he smiled and asked me how can I be sure when I have not tested and advised for HCG. I told him minutes back that my LMP was 10 April and the period lasted for 3 weeks which means I was having period till last week, why would I check this week for pregnancy. Why would I even suspect that.
We go to see a doctor when we become ill, when we develop symptoms or when we feel that we are not as normal as other day. The doctor treating us like nothing and only part of their job is very much wrong. I went to doctor in a hope that I would get better but after this visit with the doctor and his attitude I become much sick. It was a nightmare for me today.
If you cannot listen to your patient, then you are not a doctor.
If you are not understanding your patient, you are not a doctor.
And if your patient is unhappy of you and your treatment, then you are definitely not a doctor.
