This week I experienced this companies bad business practices and return policy... BAD, BAD, BAD. This company has a TERRIBLE return policy, poor quality shoes at not very reasonable prices. For these prices I can name so many other places where you can shop for shoes, get higher quality and experiance a much smoother return, if need be. I purchased a pair of boots went home, tried them on at home and realized that they were hurting my feet. So I decided to return them but to my surprise the receipt was no where to be found. I went back to the original store of purchase four days later explained my situation, signed on to my Visa account to show them the transaction had posted, that I had been charged and that I had not stolen the shoes as they were making me feel. The store manager went on to look through the store log, found the info on my purchase and still refused to refund my Visa card back because I had no proof of purchase... HELLO you just found my purchase info in your log... HELLO what more do you want, right! I was offered only an exchange since I didn't have the receipt for a purchse I had made only four days back and in intact conditions. I was left angry trying to select from an inventory of poor quality shoes at high prices. OH and after forcing myself on exchange the boots for a different pair of shoes the manager explains to me that the new purchase would be a FINAL sale since it was an exchange... oh brother can this get worse I asked myself. To ALL save yourself the hassle DO NOT SHOP at CATHY JEAN SHOES stores.
