I joined the club in 2011 after walking by and thinking - I have got to join - for 8 years!. I like the small family feel. I like the widespread demographic from teens to 90s. It creates a real life atmosphere with such a variety of members. Very few people are spending their time checking themselves out in the mirror =) Most are truly there to empower their health. There is a range of male and female instructors throughout the week and a great variety of classes whether you are just starting out, are in great shape, or during times of injury. With luck you get a very small class downstairs so the instructor can give increased attention to your posture. Upstairs the classes are bigger yet you are always noticed and included. There are also after hours special stages given by some of the instructors or swing dance classes, all of which adds to the great energy of the place. And when you ask around, some members have been there for 30+++ years. I like the loyal type of members. It is impressive and I understand why it is so. If you have never belonged to a gym or joined one of the big chains that felt like a factory, I do recommend this as being a totally different experience. You don't have to join with a friend. You will easily strike up conversations. There are quite a few expats like myself. Give it a look. It's a lovely place =)
