A good auction with good results (large collection of my families motorcycles and memorabilia were sold at the MCN Bike Show held at Excel in Feb 2017 following the sad passing of my dear father in law), all our lots were well researched and advertised. However I'm giving 1 star with a heavy heart as the whole experience was really let down post auction, and whilst the pre auction service was as you'd expect, after the auction they turned the whole process into the most stressful experience for my family ever.
It's very difficult to get through to anyone who can assist and they do not return text messages, calls or emails.
We heard nothing from them following the sale, no note, no call or anything. We waited over 2 months for a statement for the sales, and it was only then that we learn't that 2 of our lots had not sold and were stashed in a lock up somewhere.
On one occasion It took me two weeks to speak to the director who was looking after us, the accounts dept wont take calls. We had to involve our solicitor in order to get paid - the 35 day payment period was nearer 100 days - very stressful indeed at a time when the last thing we needed was additional stress and worry.
Real shame, the relationship with this company seemed to collapse as soon as the last hammer fell.
This was very upsetting for the family so I have written a letter requesting an explanation from the CEO. To date we have not had the courtesy of a reply or any kind of acknowledgement.
Edit - 5 months on and still no response at all from the CEO to my letter.
