We rented a car for three days. Office staff was helpful and rental of car (with prior online reservation) took less than 10 minutes, with no waiting to check-in at 9:30 am on a Tuesday. Minor scratches on car they declined to document at start of rental due to small size, and as they stated we were not charged for any of them on car return. We were immediately given a ride back to house after quick return of car. No pressure applied to get any excess insurances after they were offered and declined. Four weeks after rental return our credit card was charged $143. A call back to rental company showed it was for a Bus Lane violation (BEWARE driving in London, they're every!where). Company did pay the ticket within 14 days to get us a 50% discount on a £135 (!) ticket, but then charged us a £35 "administrative fee", which seems excessive for handling this by computer. So we ended up paying $143 for this small driving mistake. Overall this seemed a much better rental experience than detailed at other rental agencies I researched prior to booking.
