I subscribed to Front de Seine in January 2017. I was supposed to go for 3 months only but the job offer I had back in the UK fell through and stayed for a whole year. Generally speaking, the experience there had been top notch and I have very little to complain about. Arthur enrolled me and followed me throughout the year (some people will find that approach aggressive, I didn’t) The gym itself is brilliant and at the top end of what is on offer in Paris. It is extremely clean with a bar available and a TV showing sports. As noted by people before, staff at the front desk are extremely friendly and welcoming. The changing room can be slightly crowded during the 5.30pm – 7pm rush hour but is functional. There is a sauna available (which I’ve never used). The pricing of the gym is expensive compared to others but you have various deals offered when you join. I highly recommend that you commit to 3-4 workouts a week to make it worthwhile. You will definitely notice results after a few weeks IF you DO attend. The classes are absolutely brilliant and you can book them online. The “boxing bag”, “Abcore” and “WOD/Skill” classes were my favorites along with the “Sprint/RPM”. All excellent. You will sweat a lot but will improve rapidly (I use to practice boxing and the coaches picked little technical flaws that they corrected which was great). There are loads more and the hours are quite extensive. No excuses really. Regarding PT, my deal offered me three. I’d recommend to try them especially with Maureen or Yann. All coaches were nice but I really got on well with these two so special mention to them! Outside of classes, there’s an equipment floor but it can be very busy during after work hours (the infamous 6pm to 8pm). The equipment is very modern but it’s a shame that the boxing bag is set on the top floor where some classes are sometimes happening (and is therefore not accessible). Rowing machines are above the squash courts and are very good. You can also book your own little “workout” corner for one hour but never used that option. Overall, I can only recommend Front de Seine if you are looking for a quality gym with great staff that will provide improvements to committed people.
