The store is spectacular and the staff super helpful. If you want to enjoy the history and legacy of Hermès then I recommend visiting the store. Whilst the upstairs museum is off limits the staff can tell you fantastic stories of the origins and evolution of the brand. As you would expect, there is a huge range of stock in store and there is nothing more enjoyable than saying you purchased from the original store of such an iconic brand. Husbands will enjoy the trip, even if they need to remind their wife to breathe and not get too overwhelmed :-)

Yes, the appointment system is a little nuts. But after 3 attempts I still could not get one. Finally on the day before departure I went and pleaded my case. I only wanted an Evelyne bag, the saleswoman was amazing and found someone for me on the spot. I truly believe it’s all about how you approach someone. They get over 200 requests a day from tourists, it’s bound to be irritating! Selection varies by day, that day only two colors were available and one happened to be my favorite!

The oldest Hermes shop was huge and pleasant to walk about as it was spacious! Didnt have my item here but they did a store transfer and picked it up the next day. Service was pleasant as well. Coffee and water was served!
