The building is well cared for, facilities are sometimes down but fixed promptly, and the managers are very friendly and helpful about pretty much anything, including casual chat. The back patio has a pool and is great to relax in the summer. The rent is a bit high for comfort depending on your income, and it may help to split it. (Housing shortage in Vancouver means everything is expensive, but that's not an issue with Hollyburn itself) The location however is great; 5 minute walk to pretty much all the stores you will ever need (Safeway, Whole Foods, Home Depot, Bestbuy, MEC) and some of the most important transit veins - the Canada Line Skytrain, and 99 B-Line to UBC.
