I first went down to Hong Kong Cafe last Dec and had a great time watching a great Canadian band playing life. Although the place was full of ladies looking for "company" I enjoyed the show.

The mood of the evening was completely spoiled by the guy at the entrance - he wanted to check my visa (my country doesn't need visa for Hong Kong). Had to leave to another place with my friends. Won't ever come back to Hong Kong Cafe!

It's a bar for travelers, mostly. Local Hong Kongers are probably not too interested, seeing that the clientele is mostly professional ladies of the night. Still fun to go watch all of the craziness happen in front of you, while you relax and drink a nice Carlsberg.
