If I could give negative stars I would more than happy to do so. HSBC's so called security policy is the most horrible thing I ever experience. I've lost huge amount of saving on 2003-2010 and 2017, why? They don't even have the standard protocol to handle issue for international customers. I have a feeling they treated every location like Hong Kong, where they have a branch on almost every corner of the island, so if any problem one could just hop into one of them and get issues solved right away. But outside of Hong Kong, just like the States, the closest branch from Boston is New York City, you can't just tell a customer to "try" to obtain "counter sign" service" which they couldn't even sure that if it's available to customers at all---their irresponsible manner of telling me to "try" would cost me 10 hours on the road at least. I've talked to my friend who used to have a commercial account with them. "The best thing I ever did was close the HSBC account." She said.
