AVOID THIS BANK LIKE PLAGUE. They do everything they can to withhold you from accessing your funds. They lie, give you the run arounds, lose paperwork, this bank is a criminal organization, they should be sued and taken out of business. ZERO stars

Opened an account with HSBC on advice from my company when I moved here. They refused to open an account for my wife because if her Chinese name confusion (in the Chinatown branch). Took 3 weeks to get my debit card, can't transfer to other accounts or people without setting stuff up over the phone, their Android app is atrocious. Moved to Bank of America and never looked back.
