I typically do not write reviews online however I felt it was important in this case, and might help anyone thinking about buying a used car from Koons Tysons Chevy Buick GMC. I had been searching for a car over a month and went to many no-name used car dealerships. The experience was awful both in how I was treated and in my skepticism of the shape of the cars I was test driving. I saw a great car with a great price on the Koons web site and met with Trevor to test drive it. The experience was very good- I was treated with respect and Trevor helped me go over some questions and things I was debating (cheap new car vs quality older car). The process of purchasing the car was quick and easy. There was an open air bag recall so I took the car to a VW dealer to have that fixed. They also recommended the 80k mile service, which I did. Through this service, it was discovered that the radiator support and chin spoiler had been damaged (road damage- the car went over a curb or ran over something) and was in need of repair asap. I was very disappointed because I knew I had not caused this damage and had only had the car for 3 days. I exchanged emails with Trevor, Dave (Manager) and Robert (Director) to explain the situation, and ultimately they stood by their customer, and the car, and fixed the radiator support and chin spoiler at no cost. I could not be happier with the decision I made to purchase a car from Koons, and with my overall experience. Buying a used car comes with a certain amount of anxiety, however you can trust that you are working with professionals who value their customers if you come to this dealership.
