Cheap mot. Failed on one thing. Got told a price well over the odds to fix something. Took the car

Cheap mot. Failed on one thing. Got told a price well over the odds to fix something. Took the car to a different garage to be fixed and also got a few other bits done for a much cheaper price. Came back to Kwik Fit for the retest. They Wanted to charge me £10 for another fail certificate. Claiming they told me to bring back the fail certificate. Also told me they couldn’t do the work as they didn’t know what needed doing. Bare in mind I spoke with the same man in between the mot and retest over 3 times about the part what was needed. I Walked to a garage across the road they printed it off for free and told me they shouldn’t charge. Also have been told they take it for a test drive and a few people have told me mot tests don’t need to be test drove around. Customer service was good but shame about silly policy’s over charging for one sheet of paper.

My first experience of Kwik fit and last. Took 1 hour 45 minutes to replace 3 tyres and tracking. Yes it was Sunday on a bank holiday weekend but there was only one person before us and we were last to leave. 2 members of staff and one couldn't drive, the main guy was apologetic. Not good enough Kwik fit. Wont be recommending to anyone.
