Kwik Fit Manchester – Fallowfield manchester

Not sure where the bad reviews necessarily come from, I suppose it's always hit and miss with any kind of car repair. I was under the impression that Kwik Fit was your all purpose repair shop that you can visit 7 days a week and usually get seen to the same day. Of course some other private mechanics are cheaper, but they aren't spread across the country and available to the same standard as Kwik Fit. We had a tire explode on the motorway, I put a temporary on and then had to catch a flight - 2 weeks later we returned home, drove the car to Kwik Fit and were there for 8.30 opening time. We were the 4th car in the "queue" and had a new tire fitted, tires balanced, etc, and drove away at 10:00AM. We paid around £45 (small car/tire) and were on our way back up North. No hassle, no bother, no suggestions to purchase anything else, just a simple question - what tire do I want as a replacement. Very happy with the service provided and the time at which it happened. Also very happy that people found a cheaper deal else where, but that's life in general for you - you pay for convenience in life, and Kwik Fit in my opinion is always convenient through my experience.

They know what they are doing . Don’t rip you off . it does get busy tho and you can be waitting around for a bit but always been happy with service I got

Excellent customer service. My mother had a flat tyre that had troubled her for a while. She called in on a Sunday and the tyre was fixed within less than 20 minutes' waiting and for free!!! Highly recommended AND thank you so much once again to the great staff for the job well done!!!

Avoid. Been here for a flexi pipe 5 times. Under 3 years warranty they can't be arsed changing it anymore so come up with different reasons to why the pipe keeps on breaking! Checked out by 3 different types of mechanics who have advised Kwik fit is lying to me. Poor service and poor workmanship. Money eaters! Go to a mechanic instead and save ure money. They say we won't fit it for you again even though it's within the 3 year period! Didn't advise of that when they wanted my money.

DO NOT use this garage. Took a car in for a puncture repair that had already been temporarily repaired by the AA who informed me that it would be no more than £15 for the repair to be completed. Took it into this branch for them to tell falsely me that the damage was more extensive than it actually was and deem it irreparable, despite it having already been assessed. They then tried to charge me £72 for a replacement tyre after refusing to install the spare that I already had only for it to be repaired elsewhere to an excellent standard for £35.
