My 12 year old daughter loves lego and had saved up to buy something special. She paid £75.00 (very expensive) for a Winter Holiday Train set. She probably has over £1,000 worth of lego in her bedroom. On getting home she found it was not what she was expecting as it then needed to be upgraded further by buying an additional power pack to actually make it move. This was detailed somewhere on the back of the box amongst the other half dozen illustrations. We have tried to return it, but as some of the plastics packets had been opened, their policy is that they will not accept it back. This policy is written on what looks like size 10 font on an A5 piece of paper taped to the end of their counter. Only 3 of the packs were actually opened and everything returned to their original packs and re-closed with sellotape. At no time during the sale was it highlighted or explained to her that upgrade options were availalable or their returns policy explained. In summary: Too expensive Mis-leading packaging Poor sales service Unfair returns policy I am still awaiting a call from the manager who was unavailable when I tried to return it. This is the last LEGO set we shall ever purchase.

A fantastic store with a huge selection of lego toys to choose from. The Lego pick and mix section is also a great addition to the store. The staff are some of the friendliest and most welcoming I've ever come across, always willing to lend a hand.
