Walking in is a Twilight Zone-like experience: spotless, quiet, climate-controlled, qualified personnel with an air of professionalism. At all hours of the day and night, you will be seen with minimal delay. Front desk: preliminary inquiry is made as to the reason for your visit. Within minutes, you will be ushered inside where your vitals will be taken. From there it's on to a single room. And depending on the nature of your emergency, every diagnostic test required will be ordered and you will be seen 1 - 2 - 3 in systematic fashion with consults from specialists where needed. I have crawled in with a serious case of pneumonia and every effort was made to see to it I was comfortable. At least 4 daily papers are available for dinosaurs like me; cable and electric outlets are available for those partial to gadgets. Visitors can be helpful.
