I only rate one star because I had to in order to write a review! First off I called to see how much would they charge me to fix my power steering pump,the guy who I spoke to left me on hold for a while then came back on and said it sounds like your angry about your pump so we are going to back out on that!? Mind you I was not angry nor did I come across in an angry voice nor did i have an attitude. Why would I? I then asked so you don't want to help me because you feel I am angry??!! He said no we just don't have enough information & time right now. I then informed him that I called for a quote and that TODAY doesn't have to be the day I come for an estimate! He Again said in an angry voice that I have already told you we don't have enough information & we have no time today at all!! Then hung up! Like what the hell did he not get or understand the part when I said NOT TODAY????!!!! Very rude & disrespectful I have never called Midas before but I assure you I'm not any more! I'm not saying it's Midas in general I'm saying the person I talked to gots to go.

These people told me I had unusual wear and tear on my engine and would not even do an oil change. Actually , the wife was pretty rude when I called afterwards to discuss it. The husband said it was too much liability for them to change my oil! My father owned a foreign auto repair business for 50 years and I NEVER heard him say he would not do an oil change. These people acted like my engine was ruined, leaking oil and not worth a second thought. I felt horrible until I took it across the street to my usual place, Maui Lube and Tune Up. They told me everything was fine with my car, did the oil change and said the gasket did leak but that was usual because they get bridle with age. I could change it out if I wanted, it would cost $150-200, NO BIG DEAL, but as long as I keep an eye on my oil usage I didn’t have to do this unless I wanted too. My car has never ran low on oil or left oil drops on the ground. It is a Saturn Astra, 2008 and has been a damb good little runner! I HIGHLY recommend Maui Lube and Tune up across the street from MIDAS! Also, Midas tried to sell me four tires the last time I was there when really I only needed one. I ended up buying two new ones for the front. BUYER BEWARE!

Was weary of a chain shop but couldn't have been happier. Great service, the owner even drove me and my baby home and picked us up when my vehicle was ready. I had a time frame that I needed to be finished and they made sure to have my car ready on time.

Took 2 days to tell me that they wouldn't work on the muffler bc it was a little bit of work. Horrible choice to take it in to midas, they wouldn't even help an iota towards the tiny bit of work it would've taken to get the muffler to be drive able. We fixed it in the parking lot and took it elsewhere.

I'm sure the technicians are knowledgeable, but the manager is extremely rude. Even the gentleman who was with me getting a prepurchase inspection on my vehicle thought so. Left with the vehicles in worse condition than when I arrived. Don't expect aloha here.
