My favourite museum. An absolute delight! I've been there numerous times to just walk around the Sailor Town exhibit. The artefacts, the atmosphere, the history. It's all perfect! An absolute must visit for anyone who loves history. Heck. If you're at Canary Wharf there's absolutely nothing else that you would rather want to do!

I didn't really have high expectations for this place but i have to say what a pleasant surprise! This museum is so well structured that it will keep you engaged until the very end. The exhibit starts with the vikings, and reaches all the way until the modern age. They even have an empty room at the end for the history that hasn't been written yet. And of course the whole exhibit is full of great miniature models. I wouldn't say this is an exhibition young kids will enjoy but they have a free kids playground on the ground floor with a cafeteria right next to it.

Well worth a visit. A free museum that tells the history of London's Docklands and its impact worldwide. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. To top it off a good cafe that serves great home made food at decent prices All in all a very good day out

A must visit attraction for families with children under 5. The galleries are fun and informative - particularly fun are the streets and docks. The Mudlarks gallery is designed for under 5's and has soft play, giant bricks and water play. Free tickets for a 45m session are available the day before. There are a couple of lead sessions each week.

It's a free museum depicting the history of Docklands. There are special events which you have to pay but it's jot expensive. There is a children's play area on the ground floor but due to the popularity on weekends, there is a ticketing system. Ask for your ticket from the reception. Each play session last for 45 minutes. There's water, giant lego, pretend construction area, train tracks and a soft play area. Cafe food has limited range but generally good coffee.
