Before picking up our vehicle, my husband and I witnessed what we considered unsafe driving by a shuttle driver. We brought our concerns to management's attention. We very much appreciated their listening to us and taking our concerns seriously. For our 'troubles', they compensated us one rental day and paid for our gas! We were very pleased with our rental, appreciated the cleanliness of the car inside and out. Staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you!

National is the best!! Our experience was painless from on line to select a vehicle, to picking up at the lot and at the drop off. Fast, plus the folks to meet us are extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you National, you helped make our vacation great!!

Arrived at 10pm on the flight from Vancouver and was soo happy I went with National. Had a flawless emerald aisle experience as expected from being a regular customer. No attendant at the counter with a sign saying proceed straight to the lot! had the attention of two attendants all to myself and got to go in and out of a couple cars to make sure I got a decent map/entertainment system. Not sure if my exec status made a difference at this time but got a fully loaded Nissan Rogue, and had great choices up to even an F150 ! Added my extra drivers at the gate and we were on our way. The dropoff system they have there is great, just toss your keys to them and you get your receipt via email like normal if your setup for it. No hidden fees, just exactly what you expect when you initially booked it!

Twice I've found a new tech car. One was electric that I couldn't tell had started. Another, on this trip, was a BMW that would shut down every time I stopped. Then start automatically when I accelerated or took my foot off the brake. If you're going to put they hybrids/electric vehicles into your selection - and I recommend you do - it might be worth putting a very short note in the car explaining how these cars might be different from conventional gasoline models so drives know what to expect.

I used to have a favorite car rental agency (oddly enough it was/is Alamo, sister company to National), but National is now officially also my favorite! Throughout the experience their staff kept asking this magical question: is there anything else I can do to improve your experience. i love that question, and I love how they responded when I had a request. Excellent service throughout.
