We stopped at the Navy Pier during our bus tour. When we ordered our bus tickets they had a discount offer for the Ferris wheel tickets. I'm glad we took the bus there because the traffic was crazy. We really enjoyed the Ferris wheel. We had great views of the lake and city and overall a good time. The best part was a little 5 year old boy with his mother who were in our car. His running commentary of the ride was hilarious and cute. Great time and great people.

This is a wonderful place to visit in Chicago downtown. A guided tour on Lake Michigan gives a picturesque view of the various structures around, the history of Chicago. The vast expanse of the lake and the freshness of the water all year is very soothing, with Migratity birds playing around. The Navy pier is truly iconic with a lot of history relating to World Wars. Eateries and scenic beauty of the place make it an interesting place for a family outing. This tour along with an Architecture tour on the adjacent Chicago river indeed makes it an exciting delve into the past, present and future urban living.

Great visit for even after hours. They close at 8p so we were only able to take in some sights but not enjoy the eats and activities we wanted to do. Like The Centennial Ferris Wheel and the Fun Maze because they were closed. Plenty of photos on the lit stairway and the glass lit, and plenty of warmth, on the elevator plus had a bonus as we were able to witness a party boat dock in the pier. Can't wait to get back to this one.

Centennial Gardens is gorgeous in The Fall. The shoreline is worth a visit. Try out a boat if you would like. I like the food at Navy Pier somewhat but what is really nice is something else. Try out the Ferris Wheel for a great view of the city and photograph it if you dare. I like this place to just walk through to be honest. But it's hard not buy something a bit overpriced. So you might want to bring a water with you.

This was my first time visiting Navy Pier since they opened their doors years ago. It's currently being renovated so the inside area was a bit meh. The outdoor section was beautiful though. My kids absolutely loved the Children's Museum and are beginning to go back again. I would have liked to see more resident friendly pricing though. Everything was very expensive. I know this place caters to tourists, but for a city resident I can't see myself spending this much money to visit again anytime soon. Perhaps they can learn from the local museums that offer discounts to actual residents of the city of Chicago.
