Pierre Hermé paris France

This bakery has lots of macaroons and some chocolate. We were looking for more chocolate than anything else. The customer service was great too. If you want macaroons, this is the place to go.

Must visit when in Paris! They are a bit on the pricey side (hence the 4-star review), but they are worth the splurge. If you're indecisive, you may spend more time than usual because of the plethora of choices!! Many unique combinations that really work well together. A great gift if you're being hosted in Paris - even the Parisians love them!

Wait was a bit long but totally worth it. Desserts were fantastic. I also purchased some preserve which was delicious and a really great gift to give to friends and family back home. I will absolutely revisit next time im in Paris!

How come very low cost ingredients , such as eggs from encaged hens are part of so called quality and even luxury products? Is animal suffering included in the extravagant price of those goodies??? No more Pierre Hermé stuff for me as long as the group doesn't publicly commit into an ethical choice!

Ok, the macarons were mostly good but not worth the extra euro per piece over those at Ladurée. The "caviar" macaron is hideous and you should only try it if you love the taste of old pizza anchovies. The staff were disgraceful. If you are going to insult a man's wife you should probably make sure he can't speak French first. If management is reading this, we shopped during the evening of December 24th. Personally, I would sack the staff working then. This is how even a "famous" patisserie loses business and reputation.
