Ricoh Arena birmingham

We were lucky to attend a company function in the Clubhouse at the arena. WOW what an incredible venue for functions. The food was incredible so well done to the catering team. The decor is gorgeous right down to the wallpaper and detailed tiles in and on the access route to the ladies toilets!! A beautiful bar but the staff need some help/training with how to deal with busy periods. There were plenty of staff but behind the bar was a mess of bottles and empty glasses and rubbish and exasperation on the supervisors face who was trying to direct the staff was evident. I'd LOVE to get the chance to attend again!

I was here for an event called SCS formulate and have to say that the place isn't bad. There's a hotel inside that, whilst I was only there briefly, I was warmly greeted into. They serve the usual food, and that's not the only place for, there's a cafe too. The staff I met were all pleasant and friendly enough. Taxis outside ready to take you away and getting there from the train station is easy, taking around 15 minutes. The whole place is big, it was pretty warm and all in all not too bad.

A great stadium which would grace the premier league if the football club ever get there. At least it host's premier top division rugby. Even at lower attendances it doesn't have enough bar and toilets facility to turn people round in the breaks, which lets it down like many others who need to find a solution to serving customers quickly

Very impressed by first visit to watch Wasps v. Harlequins rugby match. Excellent parking and exit from the ground is well marshalled. Superbly located for the M6. Venue is modern and has good facilities.

Great stadium. Good seating. Plenty of food and drink stalls. Well organised. Book your parking in advance. Downside is relatively poor public transport. Only one train an hour on match day:(
