Staff member was very helpful but the selection was quite limited. While their website offers tons of options their Toronto shop is picked over with few small sizes. If you want to order in a different size or even a dress that's online but not in store, you must purchase it first (they don't order in dresses from their warehouse for you to try on otherwise). Also, if the dress then doesn't fit you can only exchange it for another dress that might fit. No returns. So it's a bit of a gamble if you see a dress you like but aren't sure about sizing. Also dress sizing differs from dress to dress so there's no guarantee of your sizing. I fit everything from a XS to a M from dress to dress (And I'm referring to the dresses in Rosie's shop. The sizing was different based on the dress and was all over the map). Wish they carried the line Stop Staring and were willing to order in dresses so that the customer could find a proper fit before purchase.

Horrible service as it made me not want to visit the location again. I mean I know my personal style perfectly & purchased the one I truly wanted but the service was garbage & it did not make me feel welcomed. As much as I absolutely adore vintage styles, I most likely will never shop here again. I don’t mind the space for private business owners but treat those that are interested in your product with respect.

The owner and staff are the sweetest and most helpful ever!! I can never go into this shop for just one thing; no matter what location they’ve been in their customer service and understanding has never changed. The owner really understands and values the diversity of bodies and gender in regards to retro couture!

Love the dresses. Excellent service. I was able to try on lots of styles and sizes. These are modern vintage style dresses, but unlike vintage, most of these dresses are made with stretch fabrics, so they are much more comfortable and fit is a lot better.

Elle is amazing! Came here to get a dress for a wedding the next day (very last minute) and Elle went above and beyond to make sure I found the dress I would love! Will definitely be coming back (as I ended up falling in love with more than one dress!)
