I definitely have a love hate relationship with this store. Being just north of the loop it services some of the richest neighborhoods in the city. I've found many high end items, especially clothing, from this location. I have two main issues with this store: 1) They are crazy with the "red" tagged items. These items are exempt from the 1/2 off color system and they put them on the what sometimes feels like 40-50% of their inventory. They also put them on things which they have no reason to be put on. And, 2) They put absolute garbage on the racks to be sold. You have to inspect everything with an eagle's eye our you'll get burned. Luckily, sometimes you can see it in plain sight; for example, a Cole Haan wool coat with the lining torn to shreds; but, it has a red tag on it for $18.00. All complaints aside, this is a place I visit regularly. The bric-a-brac section is good and there are always things that slip thru the system and are under priced. Just beware that the building is in extreme disrepair and the sales floor is often water damaged; causing both the building & the clothing to stink pretty badly. The water also drips onto the clothing, as well, but don't worry they leave it on the rack with the red tags attached and the fabric underneath stained the same red color.
