I'd give this place five stars, except for the fact that the Bristol Council has decided to close public toilets all over the City and the one at this park is one of them. Therefore , out of support for the wonderful cafe, in the centre of this park and the smashing lady that runs it ...I'll say the park sucks now. Many elderly people , or those with Children , will now be unable to spend the time there that they would choose to. This obviously affects the businesses there as many people , especially the elderly are now concerned about enjoying a cup of tea with the absence of a toilet. With a long summer ahead , I can see many children having to pee in the grass and behind trees and many men urinating up against trees and around the back of the old closed toilet. All of which, will turn it into a pit of shameful filth very rapidly. Shame on you Bristol Council . I'd like to see your personal expenses laid on the table. Looking forwards to community action on this matter. Would take a whole town to refuse to pay their council tax for a month and that should give them a kick up the arse.

Great place for long walks or strolls on a cool day. Nice play area for children and cycling. Comfortable seats to relax and be inspired by the trees and buzz of humans. Great place for a photo shoot.

Great family park. There is a pond, babies and children play areas and even a skate park. There is also a real community and it's a bit off center of bristol so less expensive than in the hustle and bustle of the city
