Leanne Jarrin's experience with Fr. Francis is not-at-all reflective of his personality. I have been a member of this parish for 15 years and counting. I have seen many priests come and go (as is the nature of this parish: the priests are here only for a few years each) and Fr. Francis is not any of the things that she described. He is indeed a lovely person. Maybe she caught him on a bad day, when he wasn't feeling well? He is a priest but he is still human. To write such a thing about someone, on a public website, after only one encounter is not a loving, Christian-like, thing to do. To give another chance, multiple chances even, is what Jesus would want us to do. As for the church itself: it is a more modern church physically, with different masses for different types of personalities: some masses have organ music, some have guitars and folksy-like singing. The 2 or 3 priests posted here rotate between the masses so you have different priests at different masses. Try all of the masses and priests to see which you prefer. 😉
