This service charged £15 for a new zip to be inserted, held on to the garment for a week then when my partner returned a week later it still wasn't done, the owner asked him if it HAD to be done by today and asked him to return four hours later, he asked her not to rush it but it looks like she did. The completed job was very poor, the fabric was damaged and the zip was inserted unevenly and messily. The waistband was not tucked in and the seam did not match, leaving on side higher than the other. Very bad service and the cost was too high considering the quality of the job.
Should the owner have apologised, refunded a small amount of the cost and endeavored to do it by the day after at a high quality, that would have been fine - but she was not apologetic nor did she offer to reduce the cost. It's understandable that sometimes you take on too many orders, but rushing the job and doing poor work is not the way to manage this.
