Liked this hotel, the location was just excellent. However our first room was rather small so we upgraded after the first night to a bigger room and where very happy. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. There was often line for a table at the breakfast but it was organized very well and the staff did an excellent job managing the tables. Would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

I’ve stayed at the strand palace 4 times, it’s by far one of the more affordable hotels in London with great facilities and lovely breakfasts. Even the single rooms are a good size and very clean. Visit the Gin Palace and get yourself a retro gimlet for a real taste of the 80s. Best of all, all the staff here no Full well what gluten is.

Clean and descent rooms, however small and way too hot without air-conditioning. Location is great!

Perfect location in the heart of London. We stayed for 10 days in May 2018. Easy to walk, take the tube or grab a cab to all the favorite sites. Steps away from west end shows and great restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. The service excellent. The morning breakfast buffet was delicious with a broad selection of both hot and cold. The Carvery Grill was lovely for a Sunday Roast, any day of the week. I would highly recommend the Strand Palace.

Super hot rooms. Only floor 8 and 9 had airco, but these were of course fully booked. Normally I don't mind the heat, but this was too much. Staff upgraded me to a larger hot room which was great since I was awake most of the night. Also no fridge in the room... Room and bathroom were clean.
