They have quite a collection of reptiles. It was smaller than I expected but bigger than mentioned in the reviews. Loved that my 7 year old was able to hold a tarantula and pet a bearded dragon and snake. He had fun feeding the giant tortoises as well

Took my kids ages 4 -17 and they all loved it. Michael is an awesome teacher. He answers all the children's questions with a great smile. They were able to touch so many reptiles worth every penny.

Unfortunately, this one star review is a desperate attempt to bring about some awareness. According to PETA, the federal Animal Welfare Act, specifically excludes cold-blooded animals from even the most basic rights, such as food, water, and room for postural changes. The Reptile Zoo is not breaking any laws, yet there are hundreds of animals are without their basic needs being met, malnourished, abnormally colored, isolated, and desperately scratching at the doors to escape with hardly room to turn around. When you spend your money here, you are literally saying this is acceptable. This establishment does not care about the welfare of living things, so what are we really teaching/showing our children? I think it is something to consider, be mindful of. If you still chose to spend your money here, it won't be out of ignorance, it will be a conscious decision.
