From the age of 6 (1936) I have spent many happy (and a few unhappy ) times at the valley. I have supported Charlton all my life and have seen the ups and downs of this great friendly family club. Had it not been for the war Charlton would be up there with the Manchester United's and Arsenals today!

Over all not bad, beer the was poor, pie hot & full. Don't take banners or flags.. will not let in w
