What a fantastic tour. I went yesterday, up to Loch Ness via Glencoe. Filled with history, Scottish music and magical landscapes. The driver/guide I had, Kenny, was a wonderful man. He had some good jokes and a great, calm voice to listen to as he told the stories. Timing was perfect and we got everywhere right on time. A few things to mind for people who plan booking this. The bus is small, so don't expect a comfy seat. The trip is LONG, which is normal since you're crossing almost half of Scotland. You spent most of the time in the bus. But you get grand views. The music Kenny played was all Scottish and every song or theme seemed similair to many others. I for one really enjoyed the songs and the music. I regret not asking some of the song's names.
I wouldn't recommend this tour to parents with children, since it will be very boring for the wee kids. Also, to the folks who don't like history, STAY AWAY. It is a history-filled tour.
If you do like history, Scottish music and a jolly good adventure, this is THE tour.
Thank you Kenny ;)
