I can't praise the kitchen at Uptown Chevrolet enough--from the food, to the service, to its own unique charm, the place is a diamond in the rough. It took me by surprise that a mini-mart would serve delectable food by they do.Their offerings are decidedly local and include items such as breaded teriyaki beef (so good!) and staples like SPAM musubi and fried chicken. And then there's their specials such as baked opapaka and several soups and stews with names I can never remember. May I recommend the Philly Fish, a local take on a Philladelphia Cheesesteak. And, if you have a breakfast hankering, they've got you covered there, too.But let's not neglect the staff. First, a shout-out to Tiffany, who is a total sweetheart! As for the rest, they're kind and work as fast as they can and provide friendly service.
