Attended the YES Partnership Investors in Young People Awards, at the Marriott. We had dinner and drinks. The venue was clean and staff were attentive. We did not stay in the rooms, so I cannot comment about these. I have visited the Marriott's Conference/Events room on a number of occasions and have eaten in the restaurant in the past. I have always been happy with my experience.

The spa day itself was good but the service could have been better. We had not been informed that the deposit for robe and slipper rental had to be cash. Also when we went to return the robe and slippers we waited almost 15 minutes as there was no one at the spa reception. We had to go to the main reception to get someone to help. It would have also been good for them to inform us of the after effects of the massage. It was my first and now cannot lie on my back due to the bruising.

We are usually a fan of Marriott we have worked at Marriott Kent severally no issues but there is a new staff called Chloe at this branch Who doesn’t seem to have a clue what an LED Dancefloor is, she refused set up access until 3pm few hours to the event and claimed we won’t fit into a room with a backdrop going against the wall it was so ridiculous I had to record it. Aside technical ignorance she also doesn’t seem to know what the word hospitality means clearly shouldn’t be working in one she claimed not to understand the way I spoke ...obviously racist!! We are approved suppliers to 5 star hotels and this is the worst service I have ever experienced from an event manager. We ended up setting up in the morning lo and behold the room could have fit 7 Supplier’s working at the same time!! I really would never get my head around an event person telling suppliers what to fit into a room or how to style a room that is the strangest encounter I have ever had at any venue in years of trading I think she may just be a natural sadist or having a bad day but either ways she should not work in hospitality we did meet other EU staff that were all pleasant on Saturday what a shame Marriott would employ such a person to be front facing to clients and suppliers

Stayed with my partner. This is our 3rd stay and it was great as usual. Clean room and comfortable bed. Breakfast was yummy. Only downside was the fact that their were small children running around the corridor literally 3am in the morning, then when it became 7am it was even worse.

Very good toilet stop if stuck in traffic jam on North Circular!!! (which was the case the other day!) In all fairness I have stayed there some years ago..it was v nice. I do remember a lovely pool & gym.
